Poolville, Texas · 501(c)(3) Nonprofit
We rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats across DFW — and run one of the region's most active Trap-Neuter-Return programs for feral colonies.
"Every cat deserves a safe place to land — whether that's a forever home or a managed colony where they can thrive."
What We Do
Sharp Claws is an all-volunteer nonprofit operating out of Poolville, TX. We take in stray and surrendered cats, provide full veterinary care, and find them loving permanent families — while also managing feral populations humanely through our active TNR program.
We pull cats from high-risk situations, place them in loving foster homes, and prepare them for adoption. Every animal receives a full vet workup before placement.
Our active TNR program humanely manages feral cat colonies, reducing populations over time while ensuring cats live safe, healthy outdoor lives.
We carefully match cats with families based on personality and lifestyle. Our adoption process ensures each cat goes to a home where they'll truly thrive.
Every cat in our care receives vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, and treatment for injuries or illness. Your donations go directly to saving lives.
Our TNR Program
Trap-Neuter-Return is the only scientifically supported, humane method for stabilizing feral cat populations long-term. We've been doing this work for years across the DFW region.
